
Budget Public Input Session
The Town Budget for 2019 has been discussed by council at two working session meetings. On Thursday January 31st at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers it is your turn let us know what you think. Projects in Ward 7 this budget year are:
- Repaving of the Second Line from Adjala-Tecumseth Townline to Tottenham Road
- Engineering Design of 7th Line from 10th Sideroad to 15th Sideroad
- Design and Construction of a 5,200 square foot addition to the Tottenham Community and Fitness Centre to house the Tottenham Branch library.
- CP Crossing upgrade at 3rd Line, for installation of gate arms and an upgrade of the warning system

The town is now accepting applications until February 1, 2019 for various committees. Application forms can be found on the Town website (at the link below) and paper copies will be made available at the Town hall and the Joint Operations Centre in Beeton.

The Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario, Holland Marsh Growers Association, Simcoe County EDO and Simcoe County Federation of Agriculture in partnership with Nottawasaga Futures are pleased to support our local agricultural community by hosting the annual AgKnowledge Forum.
Please join us to hear Meg Ronson of SuccessionMatching.com speak about transitioning farm businesses to the next generation. Local next generation farmers will also be on hand to discuss the innovations they are bringing to the farm. Let’s take a look at the future of farming.
Registration opens at 9 am and the event will run until 3 p.m. This free event includes a delicious lunch made with local foods.
